Nicely done! The form and proportions are very nice! Though it seems too light to me. I would prefer to see more darker shadows to make it pop. I really like the expression on his face. I would suggest, on the hair, try to lighten up the strokes. Hair is naturally a soft element and usually simple shading works well. Maybe throw some more shadowing in the background as well to make it more 3 dimensional. I really like how you did the hand but, the arm that's tucked under the other needs more shadow too. Well, I hope I helped a bit. Great job again and keep it up!

It's brilliant to see a wide range of drawing skills in an artist. And I like those who have a wide span of styles, from cartoon characters to realistic portraits like this one.

Although a realistic portrait, it still maintains Mafer's unique style seen in her other work. Anyone can do a portrait, but it's when you make it your own that makes it better.

I like the particular detail to the shirt, it's not too bold so that it takes your attention away from the rest of the drawing, but it's there when you take the time too look.

I also like the shading in the man's skin, it gives him age and makes him look more like a man than a teenage boy. Also, the realistic detail of the glasses is really good, I can even see those little rubber bits that sit on your nose.

I also like the man's expression, it's a thoughtful one.. but it makes you wonder what is he actually thinking about...?
